Join us for our fun and messy hand building with clay Classes.
In this Pottery Painting Technique Class, we'll utilize specialty glazes on your pottery of choice, whether casted or thrown. The cost covers the application technique (see pictures) with step-by-step instructions, specialty glazes and firing of your piece(s) purchased in the studio the day of the class. Please arrive 15/20 minutes before class starts to make your purchase. This technique can be done on a variety of functional dinnerware as long as your project has some height to it. Your personalized ceramic(s) will have your unique look and style plus it'll be dishwasher, microwave, and food safe. So join us to discover the joy of glazing ceramics. Order your Christmas trees on time this year!
Your purchase includes a custom made ceramic Christmas tree with base and so much more.... Feel the relaxation and satisfaction of painting your own unique project in an art studio atmosphere where you can pick your favorite color(s). You won't need to buy extra tools like sponges, brushes, palettes, aprons, signature glaze pencils (don't forget to write that personalized message) because we provide you with all you need with exceptional service including cleaning up. Your purchase includes FIRINGS (baking your tree two times at 2000 degrees Farenheit for 9-12 hours), free snow, bulbs, a star, and one lighting kit (installation of lighting kit extra) and a free ceramic Christmas tree painting session. See the calendar to plan the week end you'd like to paint your tree. (12/6, 2-5 pm is a party!) Deadline to order your tree for 2025 is 11/28. Create yours like no one else!
Winter Pottery Mini-Camps Registrations open
These are structured art classes with instructions and are led by professionals teaching students the basics techniques of working with clay. On the first day young potters hand build, sculpt AND throw on the pottery wheel. The second day is dedicated to painting their projects and more... It's basically a mini-version of our Summer Art Camps. As always, materials, glazes, and firings are all included.
Register by purchasing the mini art camp(s) you'd like the kiddos to attend (click on picture or green bar below) and by completing the registration and waiver forms (click here, or scroll down to PDF forms to download.
Note: Please ensure that chil/ren bring water and snacks.
NEW! POTTERY STUDIO MEMBERSHIP
This Pottery Studio Membership is monthly and includes unlimited usage of our equipment (pottery wheel, slab rollers, extruders), tools, and studio time in 3 hour increments on Tuesdays 3-6 pm, Wednesdays 4-7 pm, Thursdays 11 am -2 pm, and Fridays 11 am-2 pm (subject to private events). Bring your own clay or receive 40% off our retail clay. Membership includes storage of your clay, plastic to cover works in progress, and one drying shelf tagged with your name. Bring your own glazes or use our own for a small fee. Bring your own aprons and towels. Firings are $0.04 per cubic inch. We ask that long hair be tied up, that closed-toed shoes be worn, that hand/wrists jewelry be removed for safety precautions. You clean up your equipment, tool and work space within allotted time .
One time satisfying pottery wheel classes for special occasions.
These semi-private pottery wheel classes for families happen every Fridays (4:30-6:30 pm) or Saturdays (11 am-1 pm). RSVP are FCFS (First Come First Served).
